Simon Pulo, a Maltese artist, was always passionate about expressing his emotions through art. He was born in 1977 in Mtarfa. He became particularly interested in fine art and hyper realistic art at a young age, whilst watching his father Saviour paint.
The artist started experimenting with different techniques and mediums, his favorite being oil on canvas and pencil.
Simon started exhibiting with his father three years ago. His upcoming exhibition; ‘Xeni Maltin’ – Maltese Scenery, will take place at Palazzo De Piro, Mdina. Following the success of his first exhibition, held in July 2018 at Palazzo De Piro, Simon will be exhibiting together with his father, his mentor, Saviour Pulo. Saviour was born in Cospicua in 1950 and just like Simon, is self-taught.
Simon is eternally inspired by marvelous Maltese scenery that Malta and Gozo have to offer, hence the title of his upcoming exhibition.
The artist has, in fact, depicted various vibrant scenes, executed in mysterious colors allowing the viewer to enjoy Malta and Gozo’s beauty in different moods and times of today.
Palazzo De Piro requests the pleasure of the company of their clients and art aficionados to visit ‘Xeni Maltin’ during the months of November and December.
Palazzo de Piro opens from Sunday to Thursday from 9.30 till 17:00 and till 22:00 on Friday and Saturday.
