Seeing Voices / Vuċijiet li Nara – Paul Caruana
Every month at Palazzo de Piro, we showcase a different Artist’s work on the walls of the historical Palazzo. Whilst you drink, dine or during one of the many events this creativity hub has to offer, you can view these artworks and purchase your favoured piece. During the month of October, Paul Caruana’s ‘Seeing Voices’ will be exhibited at Palazzo de Piro.
Paul Caruana is a watercolour artist from Malta and is a familiar name to Palazzo de Piro as he has previously displayed his artistic collections in 2017 as well as 2015. His previous collections ‘Dear Younger Me’ and ‘Ħrejjef ta’ Veru / Telltales’ dealt with the theme of his childhood.
This year, Paul presents 20 watercolours all done during the past year, of characters from life, who somehow still speak of their experiences and the life they led. Sometimes we cannot see the person, but we can ‘see’ his words in our minds.
“If my works make you forget life’s hassles for a few seconds, then I will have achieved my goal. I chose Palazzo de Piro for its unique atmosphere when viewing these works.” Paul Caruana.
Make sure to visit Paul Caruana’s showcase of ‘Seeing Voices’ during the month of October and visit the exhibition yourself and why not purchase one of them.
